Our Story

Twin Lakes Pet Resort was established in 2020 by Dee and Ali Burgin, a pair of animal lovers who were inspired to build a place where pet owners are comfortable leaving their furry family members for long or short term stays. We are conveniently located on Route 1 on the banks of Twin Lakes in Paris, IL. Our 6,500 square foot facility consists of 30 dog suites, large indoor and outdoor play areas, a dedicated area just for cats, grooming salon and even a self dog wash station!

Our Mission Statement is simple: To provide peace of mind for local pet owners through our superior pet care services. We know how hard it can be to find suitable care for your pets when you are away from home, whether it be for the day while you are at work, or for a week when you are on vacation. Twin Lakes Pet Resort was designed to relieve that stress. The health and safety of your pets is of upmost importance to us and we comply with all State regulations in regards to animal welfare. We require up to date vaccination records for every guest - please see our Policies and Forms page for more information. We built our facility with your pets in mind and have ensured that they will be safe for the entirety of their stay. For those uncontrollable situations when a guest becomes ill or has an unexpected emergency, we will contact the veterinary offices in closest proximity geographically to us to ensure they can handle the emergency present. Your pet will be rushed to the facility for treatment and you will be notified.
